"When We Don't Like Somebody It's Good For Bouffon."

More bastards today. I got up and spoke about a casting director from back home who is incredibly rude, egotistical, two-faced...a bitch. I gave details about what she's like to deal with, the fact that she was once an actor but couldn't quite cut it, and talked about how she hires the best looking boys to read for her and pays them lots of money (and probably expects something-something in return). Philippe asked a few questions - about her politically - in which I ranted (as her) about how she's sick having to pay for unemployed Māori women on the benefit having so many kids whilst she doesn't even have enough time to have a boyfriend because she's so busy working. Eventually Philippe asked to see two minutes with this woman. I played to the class as if they had all turned up for a big audition for Spartacus and ranted to them about how it's a privilege that they are here and essentially to not stuff it up.

At the end of the improvisation Philippe said "It's good. We use this one." But he noted that she is not vulgar. I agree. Not like some bastards. But I think if you gave her enough alcohol she would say the most vicious revolting things.

So she will be one of my bastards which I will imitate when playing Bouffon texts.

Here some others I am considering.

Paul Henry - Bigot Broadcaster Bastard

Rodney Hide - Political Bastard

Bishop Brian Tamaki - Fanatic-Religious Bastard

"When we don't like somebody it's good for Bouffon."

"We have to think this person has a very good fun to mock or destroy this person...the fun is the most important."

"If we laugh you are happy to destroy her more and more."

"A bastard is someone who could write a letter to remove a long-nosed Jew."

André offered Pauline Hanson - an Australian politician - as a bastard. She's a good one!

"'We give too much money'...that is a good point for Bouffon."

Mark presented Nick Griffin - a British politician - which was also a good one!

~

"Sarah Palin is fantastic for Bouffon."

"If you want to see the best bastards in the world...it's the army."
